Duties and responsibilities:
1) Answering phone calls and assisting students to be directed to right staff members;
2) Providing assistance for events such as new student orientation and advising events;
3) Collecting necessary information from students including RSVPs;
4) Developing posters, flyers, handouts, etc.;
5) Making and scanning documents for records, customs, and other purposes;
6) Supporting the management of Academic Affairs social media account;
7) Maintaining the Office of Academic Affairs so that it is presentable to visitors; and
8) Other duties as assigned.
Desired qualifications.
1) Be proficient in English and Korean;
2) Be detail-oriented;
3) Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel;
4) Be able to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds; and
5) Demonstrate strong work ethic.
Work Hours per student: up to 40 hrs/ week during the break and/or 15 hrs/week during semester. Seeking 1 student(s).

Students must meet the following requirements:
1) Must have completed at least one semester at Mason Korea and have an official GPA record.
2) Be in good academic standing (Cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher; or as required by the office).
3) Have enrolled as student in current semester at least 6 credits. When working during the break, have completed enrollment in the upcoming semester.
A note on break housing:
•If applicable, selected work study students may apply for break IGC housing starting from May 12, 10am.
•UL does not guarantee housing during the summer & winter breaks for the work & study program students who apply for the housing.
•Work & Study students can reach out to UL Housing Staff or IGC housing office directly if they would like to receive more information about break housing.
•The break housing is usually offered on a first-come, first served bases. Please note that the housing office cannot guarantee availability if all rooms are already occupied.
•Work & Student students will follow the same procedure as other students (application period, payment deadline, etc.) if they are planning to apply for break housing at IGC.
