This is Maven Consumer's founding acquisition role — a 0-to-1 opportunity to build the engine that grows a category-defining women's and family health platform. This role will own strategy and execution across paid and organic channels, with real budget authority and accountability to CAC and subscriber quality targets. Reporting to the General Manager, Consumer, this leader will work in close partnership with the core consumer teams and Maven's enterprise marketing and creative teams.

We're looking for someone who has built consumer growth engines from scratch, knows what DTC health looks like at scale, and can bring that playbook to a category where trust and outcomes are critical. Perhaps you’re a former founder, generalist growth hacker, or just a growth-obsessed operator who takes extreme ownership and thoughtful risks to find novel, creative growth channels that have massive impact.

  • Own paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Google, podcast, OOH, and emerging channels with full budget and CAC accountability
  • Build SEO, content, and web conversion strategy with a long view on durable organic growth
  • Lead acquisition creative strategy: strong POV on direct response formats, track record of briefing for paid social and video, and finding the hook that converts in a trust-sensitive category
  • Develop referral, ambassador, and influencer programs as owned acquisition channels
  • Build attribution infrastructure and measurement strategy, rigorous about what's actually driving growth, not just what's easy to track
  • Run a rigorous experimentation program focused on acquisition efficiency and subscription conversion
  • Partner with Finance on budget planning and ROI reporting; bring competitive and channel intelligence to the team
  • Lead a lean team of FTEs, freelancers, and agency partners; hire well, develop the people you hire
  • 6-8+ years in growth or performance marketing, with meaningful time in consumer health, wellness, or DTC subscription
  • Track record owning and scaling paid acquisition budgets from $0 to $MM with real budget authority, not just advisory influence
  • Hands-on fluency across paid social (Meta, TikTok), SEM, and attribution tooling; you build your own analyses (SQL a plus, Mixpanel/Amplitude expected)
  • Sharp creative judgment: you know what good looks like and have moved metrics with it
  • Comfortable in 0-to-1 environments: ambiguous, fast-moving, high ownership

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, and remotely via San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA. For those based in Boston, DC, Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend monthly Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.

At Maven we believe that a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences enrich our teams and allow us to achieve above and beyond our goals. If you do not have experience in all of the areas detailed above, we hope that you will share your unique background with us in your application and how it can be additive to our teams.
