The Head Coach for Girls Varsity Soccer is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and directing the Upper School Girls Soccer Program.
This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics, Coaching, and Mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have
experience as a Head Coach for Girls Varsity Soccer, College Coach, or Club-Level Coach, effective written and oral communication skills, a connection to the youth and local soccer community, an ability to build relationships and work well with others, a sharp perspective on the role of athletics in the educational experience.
Essential duties include:
- Offer positive leadership by coaching the Varsity Program
- Oversee the entire Girls Soccer Program including our Middle School and Junior Varsity Program
- Serve as an ambassador for the school and the program by connecting and following up with interested scholar-athletes and families
- Conduct out-of-season programs within league rules such as strength and conditioning, summer leagues, and pre- and post-season workouts
- Connect with Middle and Lower School students and families to promote participation and involvement in the program.
