IT Manager (Manufacturing & Automation)

A fast-growing manufacturing organization in Dubai is looking for a visionary Head of IT to lead its next phase of digital transformation across multiple sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

This is a high-impact leadership role for an IT professional who understands that technology should do more than support the business — it should drive factory-floor efficiency, automation, and real-time decision-making. Reporting directly to the COO, you will take ownership of cloud migration, ERP optimization, site connectivity, and the integration of IT with manufacturing operations.

This is not a maintenance position. It is a chance to:

• Lead a complete transition from legacy systems to a modern, cloud-first environment.
• Improve how manufacturing data is captured, shared, and used across operations.
• Build a scalable IT model for temporary project sites and remote locations.
• Shape the technology roadmap for a lean, performance-driven organization.

• Integrating IT with production operations through IoT, automation, and shop-floor tracking.
• Maximizing the value of a cloud ERP system, ideally Epicor, to improve inventory visibility and manufacturing analytics.
• Migrating on-prem servers, storage, and PABX infrastructure to secure cloud platforms.
• Establishing a plug-and-play IT setup for fast deployment at multiple project sites.
• Leading a lean team and working closely with vendors to deliver strong outcomes efficiently.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 8+ years of IT leadership experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or fast-paced logistics.
• Strong exposure to shop-floor technology, including ERP integration, barcode/RFID solutions, and automated reporting.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with SD-WAN networking for remote sites and modern VoIP/UCaaS solutions.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to prevent downtime, solve bottlenecks early, and drive change confidently.
