Job Purpose
Responsible for planning, operation, maintenance, and risk management of site fire protection systems, ensuring life safety, asset protection, regulatory compliance, and business continuity, while supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fire Protection System Operation & Reliability
Operate and maintain fire detection and suppression systems (e.g., VESDA, detectors, sprinklers, gas/foam systems, fire pumps, hydrants)
Ensure systems are reliable, available, and fully functional to protect people and critical assets
Fire Risk Assessment & Prevention
Identify fire hazards and system gaps across fab, utility, and support areas
Conduct fire risk assessments for high‑risk locations
Implement preventive controls and mitigation measures to reduce incident likelihood
Emergency Response & Incident Management
Develop and execute fire emergency response procedures
Coordinate with ERC, EHS, and local fire brigades
Lead or support incident investigation and RCA, driving corrective actions
Business Continuity & ISO 22301 Support
Support BCM objectives related to fire events
Strengthen incident response capability and operational resilience
Align fire protection controls with ISO 22301 requirements
Compliance, Audit & Project Execution
Ensure compliance with fire codes, EHS, and corporate standards
Support audits and government inspections
Lead or support fire protection system upgrade and improvement projects
Participate in facility design reviews to embed fire safety early
Cross‑Functional & External Collaboration
Collaborate with Manufacturing, EHS, FAC, Security, and contractors
Interface with regulatory agencies and fire departments
Support regional or Global FAC initiatives as required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Fire Protection, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related fields
Experience with large‑scale facility or fab fire protection systems preferred
Knowledge of fire detection, suppression, and emergency response systems
Strong risk awareness, incident management, and communication skills
