Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. We sit at the intersection of cutting-edge DRAM innovation and real customer deployment. Our Customer Enablement team ensures that what we build performs reliably in the environments our customers depend on most. We work hands-on with engineering, manufacturing, and partners to solve real problems, accelerate validation, and bring products to market with confidence! This role is central to making that happen. In this role, you will play a critical role in LPDDR customer enablement by working on‑site with customers in San Jose. You will collaborate directly with customer system and silicon engineers to drive joint system evaluation, accelerate product qualification, and ensure successful deployment of Micron LPDDR products in next‑generation platforms. Responsibilities: * Act as an on‑site customer enablement engineer, supporting joint system evaluation, silicon bring‑up, and early platform integration activities for LPDDR products. * Provide direct, hands‑on technical support through face‑to‑face discussions, lab debug, and rapid issue resolution. * Drive early identification and mitigation of system‑level risks related to signal integrity, power, timing margins, performance, and reliability. * Serve as a primary technical interface between Micron and the customer for LPDDR engineering topics. * Clearly communicate Micron LPDDR architecture, design intent, and silicon behavior to customer system and silicon teams. * Translate customer system observations and requirements into actionable engineering inputs for Micron internal teams. * Prepare concise technical summaries, debug reports, and customer‑facing documentation to support alignment and decision‑making. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in DRAM or memory product engineering, design, or system‑level support roles. * Deep technical understanding of DRAM architecture, LPDDR products, and memory subsystem behavior. * Proven experience providing direct customer support, including on‑site or resident engineering roles. * Strong problem‑solving skills with hands‑on experience in system‑level debug and failure analysis. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage directly and effectively with customer engineers. * Ability to work independently and drive complex, cross‑functional issues to closure. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior on‑site customer assignment experience in San Jose or equivalent customer locations. * Experience supporting leading mobile, SoC, or system customers. * Ability to bridge design, product engineering, system, and quality perspectives. * Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring or guiding other engineers. * Experience working with global, cross‑regional engineering teams. * Japanese communication skill to communicate LPDDR engineering in Micron Japan.
