Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Classification: Staff - Seasonal Position

Stipend Range: $1500 -$2000 per season, based on experience and qualifications

Summary of Position:

The Middle School at Milton Academy is seeking a strength and conditioning coach for the Winter season. Practices run from 2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The season begins on November 30 and concludes on March 3. There are no weekend commitments.

This is a seasonal position for the Winter 26-27 school year. May be eligible for renewal depending on school needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Organizing practices to help improve fundamental skills and motivating student-athletes.

• Communicating with the Middle School Athletic Director throughout the season.

• Providing strategy, physical training, and techniques to help their student-athletes reach individual and team success.

Preferred: Experience coaching kids at the middle school level.

Physical Abilities

Required:

• Must be able to work at a computer for up to 8 hours each day in conjunction with OSHA requirements.

• Must be able to move around the Milton Academy campus without restriction.

• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
