What We Offer
~1 min readThe Quality Program Auditor ensures compliance with hospice quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies through audits, process reviews, and performance improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with clinical, education, compliance, and leadership teams to identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen quality outcomes, and support ongoing staff education.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Conduct internal quality and compliance audits across hospice operations.
- →Evaluate documentation, processes, and clinical practices to ensure regulatory and company compliance.
- →Identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and monitor improvement plans.
- →Prepare audit reports and maintain accurate compliance documentation.
- →Collaborate with clinical, leadership, education, HR, and compliance teams to implement best practices.
- →Partner with the Education team to develop training based on audit findings and support onboarding, orientation, and annual education.
- →Assist branches in preparing for regulatory surveys through mock audits and readiness activities.
- →Analyze quality metrics and SHP data to drive performance improvement.
- →Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and hospice Conditions of Participation.
- →Support quality improvement initiatives, attend case conferences as needed, and provide backup support for the Hospice Clinical Educator role.
- →Travel to branch locations as needed.
Requirements
~3 min read- Registered Nurse Associates Degree in Related Field or Industry
- Proficiency in HOPE tool and related review, actions and planning aligned to CMS guidelines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to handle stressful situations/deadlines.
- Strong computer and software skills with knowledge of Home Care Home Base highly preferred.
- Self-starter, goal directed with ability to work independently and stay focused without on-site supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with agency staff, upper management, and other members of the health care team.
