SUMMARY: The AbilityOne Team Leader assists the Worksite Manager in providing supervision and training to participant employees and supervisors at the worksite.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required of the AbilityOne Team Lead position.   Demonstrates compliance with the federal government contract requirements, specifically the Statement of Work. Assists Worksite Manager to prepare and submit task and frequency schedules for buildings being serviced at Hanscom Air Force Base in order to be in compliance with federal government standards. Knowledgeable of all policies and procedures and assures compliance. Assists Worksite Manager to direct and implement quality control programs to ensure the quality of work being performed meets contract standards. Assists Worksite Manager to monitor and implement environmental rules and regulations related to the use of cleaning chemicals and materials. Assists Worksite Manager to develop work plans and schedules for buildings being serviced at Hanscom Air Force Base. Directs and implements work plans, schedules and assignments for daily work tasks for buildings being serviced at Hanscom Air Force Base. Performs and manages workflow of a team and individuals within established quality, budgets and goals. Maintains positive working relationships with federal government Contracting Officials and Quality Assurance Officials to hear and resolve complaints.  Refers serious unresolved complaints to Worksite Manager. Performs daily work assignments and provides work direction to team members. Supervises and provides hands on training and development to paid participants assigned to Hanscom Air Force Base to be in compliance with contract and Goodwill’s policies/guidelines. Transports AbilityOne employees and paid participants and supplies to and from buildings being serviced at Hanscom Air Force Base. Ensures a safe working environment for employees and customers.  Performs duties in accordance with Goodwill’s standard policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:   A high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of supervisory experience in the janitorial or housekeeping service industry.  An Associate’s degree in Social Services or a related field a plus. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. First-aid/CPR certification and a valid MA driver’s license with a clean driving record from the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Experience working with a diverse population and with individuals with disabilities. Must be flexible and able to work as part of a team, willing to work hours/shifts of the industry. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.      Satisfactory results of all required background checks.     PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required use hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves 10 to 40 pounds.
