Ani, which means “big brother”, is a vision of our owner and founder Luck, who decided to open a Ramen house that serves great food in a comfortable environment that he could bring his family to locally. Since 2014 we have grown the Ani brand throughout New Jersey and New York. We have a truly amazing opportunity to work with a growing restaurant group. With several incredibly successful full-service restaurants, we are looking to add dedicated team members to our growing team to help make Ani successful.
Shift Lead Responsibilities:
- Train, lead, and coach all employees in the front of house to ensure that established Ani cultural and core standards are met.
- Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by the company, local, state, and federal regulations are in compliance.
- Communicate with employees and upper management to ensure operational needs are met.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Manage flow of business via dine in, take out and delivery sales channels
- Open and/or close the restaurant as the Supervisor on the floor, responsible for all aspects of service and restaurant operations
Requirements:
- Experience in leading a team
- Bilingual preferred
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with bussers, cooks and other staff.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
