Job Summary

The Handyman would be responsible for building and ground maintenance which includes performing basic carpentry, plumbing, painting (wood, metal and wall) duties across the Production Plant.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Making repairs to dolleys
2. Sorting of tools
3. Upkeep of ladders
4. Sharpening of knives and scissors
5. Cleaning of insectocutors
6. Cleaning of drains/ grease traps
7. Inspection  of wells
8. Assisting with tyre changes
9. Washing of trucks
10. Pressure washing of specific areas- ie cafp/pad
11. Basic repairs to roofing- flash band etc
12. Changing of door; hinge removal, lock change
13. Faucet  and tap installations as well as repairs
14. Assist Maintenance Technicians in their duties
15. Basic masonry
16. Use and care of workshop tools
17. Change of plucker fingers
18. Basic lubrication- use of grease gun
19. Replacement of  bathroom lights
20. Scaffolding erection
21. Upkeep of workshop
