We are looking for a Global Capital Markets professional focused on Equity Solutions, to join our Global Center in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the structuring, analysis, pricing and execution of equity-linked and derivative-based transactions, working closely with Coverage, ECM, Syndicate, and Sales & Trading teams globally. You will receive a variety of trainings covering financial analysis, markets, structuring concepts, and pricing. At the end of training, you will be able to understand financial concepts and have a strong understanding of the Morgan Stanley culture. In this role, you will gain exposure to financial markets and macro trends, build expertise in structuring equity solutions, and work with bankers in core locations. High performers will be eligible for internal mobility opportunities globally. Key Responsibilities * Provide execution and analytical support to global Equity Solutions teams across equity-linked and structured transactions, including convertibles, share buybacks, structured equity offerings, and hedging solutions * Support transaction execution by coordinating with deal team members, tracking deliverables, and managing workflows across key deal milestones * Assist in structuring transactions by analysing trade-offs across cost of capital, dilution, valuation, and risk management * Build and maintain financial and scenario models to evaluate structuring alternatives, pricing dynamics, and payoff profiles * Conduct market, sector, and transaction analysis, including precedents, valuation benchmarks, implied volatilities, pricing trends, and post-issuance performance tracking * Analyse shareholder structures, liquidity, and trading dynamics to support both capital raising and monetization strategies * Support development of hedging and risk management frameworks, including options-based overlays and structured solutions * Assist in investor analysis and market positioning by synthesizing market intelligence, investor behaviour, and product demand trends * Prepare and update client marketing materials, including pitch books, structuring frameworks, transaction analyses, and market updates * Maintain and enhance databases, dashboards, and recurring reports tracking equity-linked issuance, market activity, and analytics * Partner closely with Coverage, ECM, Syndicate, and Sales & Trading desks to ensure seamless execution and alignment across teams * Contribute to process improvement, automation, and technical initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and turnaround times across workflows * Provide ad-hoc analytical and operational support to meet evolving business need Skills and qualifications * MBA / CA / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent * 1 – 3 years of work experience in investment banking, capital markets, or related fields * Strong interest in equity capital markets, equity derivatives, and structured products * Strong analytical and numerical skills with ability to interpret market data and financial models * Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg and market data tools (Dealogic, LSEG) * Exposure to derivatives / options / structured products is a plus * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with global teams * Agility and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, market-driven environment * Team player with a strong work ethic and motivation to learn * Ability to manage expectations and work under tight timelines * Exceptional attention to detail * Programming and coding experience / knowledge of AI tools is encouraged WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
