The Field and Client Business Development Group, within Investment Solutions, supports the Firm’s Financial Advisors by managing the field sales support of non-banking products and the business development functions for our branch network. The Product Sales Enablement Team provides operational and execution support to sales teams, helping drive commercial outcomes and, where appropriate, accelerate product adoption. The team partners closely with Sales, Business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination, consistent execution, and scalable go-to-market delivery.
The Morgan Stanley Product Sales Enablement role is a unique opportunity to prepare and develop the skillset for a career in the Wealth Management division of the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Partner with Sales to support Financial Advisors across a broad range of investment solutions, including Advisory, Alternative Investments, Annuities, and Insurance.
* Collaborate with Sales and Business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and distribute tactical and strategic, client-level opportunity lists to help influence client outcomes and drive product adoption.
* Respond to requests for specialized reporting, delivering timely prospect and client support materials aligned to sales priorities.
* Execute initial stages of book reviews, including assessing existing holdings and identifying potential solution opportunities.
* Maintain and enhance internal sales-support webpages, providing Financial Advisors with timely, market-driven updates and relevant process resources.
* Demonstrate proficiency in the tools, processes, and product knowledge required to support day-to-day activities across the Consulting Group, Alternative Investments, and Insured Solutions.
* Identify and implement opportunities, including generative artificial intelligence, to scale workflows and improve efficiency in support of the team’s mandate
* Leverage CRM tools, as applicable, to track workflow execution, activity, and outcomes.
* Support onboarding by training and upskilling new team members to ensure consistent execution and coverage.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
* Bachelor’s degree required; 6 months –2.5 years of experience in financial services or a related industry preferred.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong time-management and prioritization capabilities.
* Highly organized, focused, and disciplined; able to manage multiple competing requests from product sales teams and deliver all required actions accurately and on time.
* Demonstrated openness to feedback; actively seeks constructive coaching from both onsite managers and key stakeholders to continuously improve performance.
* Proven ability to establish, maintain, and support strong working relationships with product sales teams and key stakeholders.
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a consistent work ethic that builds confidence and trust in deliverables.
* Authorization to work in India without durational restrictions.
* Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including background checks and assessments.
