We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Reconciliation Associate. This Operations group supports equity, fixed income, liquidity and alternative businesses for Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), providing middle-office services including portfolio manager support, client services, portfolio transitions, market registration, product data and performance and attribution analysis. MSIM Operations also provides mutual fund support, derivative processing, and counterparty and credit event management
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position within the Product Support & Services Investment Management.

What you'll do in the role:
* Complete understanding of Equity and Fixed income product profiles.
* Reviewing and actioning on the open breaks on daily basis.
* Clearing of the breaks post thorough investigation internally.
* Adhering to Service level agreements with global counterparts to ensure deliverables are signed off as per agreed timelines.
* Liaising with global counterparts and Custodians to ensure accuracy of books and records
* Periodic Risk and Exception reporting to senior management
* Involvement in projects related to the job function
What you'll bring to the role:
* Good understanding of Equity and Fixed income product profiles with 3-5 years of work experience
* Additional advantage if worked on Aladdin application
* Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, accountability, ownership
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Proficient in Computer Systems
* Team-player
* The ability to multitask and prioritize functions and tasks.
* Has the ability to absorb information and learn quickly
* Ability to identify and escalate risk issues to stakeholders
* Ability to follow-up and work with teams at off-site/remote locations
* Relevant prior experience in reconciliations will be an added advantage
* High degree of computer literacy, including working knowledge of Windows-based applications
