Morning Consult is looking for a Commercial Applications Analyst who will play a key role in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the suite of tools that power our commercial teams. This is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of business operations and technology — you'll work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to understand how they work, translate that into system improvements, and own the day-to-day health of our connected tech stack.

You'll report directly to the Manager, Business Operations Systems and serve as a first line of support and continuous improvement for tools like Gong, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Celigo, and others. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is curious about revenue technology, enjoys solving operational problems, and wants to grow within a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

The Business Operations team is part of the financial division at Morning Consult. We work closely with all divisions within Morning Consult to ensure that our technologies, processes and reporting support the goals and initiatives of the entire organization. Business Operations is a small team but plays an outsized role in the strategic evolution of the business.

  • Owning the day-to-day administration of Morning Consult's commercial tech stack, including Gong, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and other sales and marketing tools — managing user provisioning, configuration changes, and vendor relationships
  • Serving as the first point of contact for business stakeholders requesting changes or improvements to connected systems, gathering requirements and translating them into actionable configurations
  • Building and maintaining integrations between commercial tools using Celigo or similar iPaaS platforms, ensuring data flows cleanly and reliably across the stack
  • Supporting Salesforce on an as-needed basis — including lightweight tasks such as field creation or list view updates — in coordination with the Manager, Business Operations Systems
  • Monitoring system health and data quality across connected platforms, proactively flagging issues and driving resolution
  • Documenting processes, configurations, and workflows to build a reliable knowledge base and support scalability as the team and toolset grow
  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps stakeholders to understand pain points, identify opportunities for automation or improvement, and deliver practical solutions
  • Performing such other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company's discretion
  • 2–3 years of experience in a business systems, sales operations, revenue operations, or similar role at a B2B technology or SaaS company
  • Hands-on experience administering or configuring commercial tools such as Clari, Gong, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Outreach, or similar sales engagement and intelligence platforms
  • Familiarity with Salesforce as a user or light administrator — you know your way around the platform and can handle routine tasks, but deep Salesforce development is not expected
  • Experience with or strong curiosity about integration platforms (Celigo, Zapier, or similar) and how data moves between systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you enjoy digging into a broken process and figuring out why it isn't working
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and explain solutions
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine interest in revenue technology and a desire to grow your depth across the commercial stack
