At Motorola Solutions, we believe that everything starts with our people. We’re a global close-knit community, united by the relentless pursuit to help keep people safer everywhere. We build and connect technologies to help protect people, property and places. Our solutions foster the collaboration that’s critical for safer communities, safer schools, safer hospitals, safer businesses, and ultimately, safer nations. Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.

Our IT organization has a critical role in driving extraordinary business results. Through a strong partnership with other areas of our business, we bring innovative thinking to every conversation and deliver with integrity. We’re looking for people who bring great ideas and who make our partners’ ideas better. Intellectually curious advisors (not order takers) who focus on outcomes to creatively solve business problems. People who not only embrace change, but who accelerate it.

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer with at least 6 years of hands-on experience to lead our integration and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess deep technical expertise in OIC  Generation 3, managing complex integrations. Unique to this role is a strong focus on hyper-automation; the candidate will not only design API-led integrations but also leverage OIC’s native RPA & OCU document understanding capabilities to automate manual tasks. Experience with UiPath is highly desirable to bridge our existing automation landscape.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and SOA technologies.
  • OIC RPA: Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud’s native RPA features (designing bots, recording workflows, and managing robot agents).
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, REST, SOAP, and JavaScript for complex data mapping and transformation.
  • Certifications: Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration Specialist certification (preferred).
  • UiPath RPA: Experience developing bots in UiPath Studio and managing them via UiPath Orchestrator.
  • Experience integrating with Oracle SaaS modules (Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM).
  • Knowledge of Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) or Process Cloud Service (PCS).
None
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for debugging complex hybrid (API + RPA) workflows.
  • Ability to communicate technical automation concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to lead migration projects independently.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Gen 3, ensuring high availability and error handling.
  • Lead migration efforts from OIC Gen 2 to Gen 3, including refactoring integrations to utilize Gen 3’s project-based architecture and improved connectivity features.
  • Configure and manage Oracle Cloud Adapters (ERP, HCM, SCM, Salesforce, REST/SOAP) to ensure seamless data flow between SaaS, PaaS, and on-premise applications.
  • Implement complex orchestration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous) and lookups to map cross-functional business processes.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI Agents natively in OIC Gen 3 and Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio.
  • Construct and manage AI Tools, Agent Patterns (e.g., ReAct reasoning and acting), and Prompt Templates to execute multi-step automated workflows.
  • Expose OIC integrations as enterprise-grade MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools to serve as safe, governed action layers for enterprise agent runtimes.
  • Implement human-in-the-loop (HITL) exception-handling workflows for high-risk agentic decisions
  • Identify opportunities for automation where APIs are unavailable and implement OIC Native RPA (Robots) to handle UI-based interactions.
  • Design, record, and configure software robots within the OIC ecosystem to automate repetitive manual tasks (e.g., legacy system data entry, document scraping).
  • Orchestrate hybrid workflows that combine API-based integrations with RPA bots to achieve end-to-end process automation.
  • Preferred: Integrate OIC with UiPath orchestrators to trigger advanced external bots or consume UiPath processes within OIC flows.
  • Assess existing UiPath automations for potential migration to OIC Native RPA to consolidate licensing and infrastructure where applicable.
  • Fusion ERP Integration: Build integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to map extracted JSON data (Vendor Name, Invoice Amount, Date) directly into Oracle Fusion ERP tables.
  • API Orchestration: Develop Python scripts or OCI Functions to trigger the Document Understanding REST APIs whenever a new file lands in an Object Storage bucket.
  • Exception Handling: Design workflows (using OCI Process Automation) that route "low confidence" extractions to a human manager for manual review before data is committed to the ledger.
  • Utilize OIC Observability tools to monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance (specifically addressing Gen 3 performance tuning).
  • Manage connectivity agents for on-premise integrations, ensuring secure communication tunnels.
