Technical Aide

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Job Duties:

• Combining AI/LLMs with endocrine and pharmacological modelling to assemble NLP, biomedical data extraction, knowledge integration, and predictive modelling in a practical research setting. This will be approached through LLM/NLP pipelines for extracting structured biomedical information from literature, clinical trials, and public repositories if possible;
• Harmonizing multi-source datasets and building reusable data workflows for downstream modelling;
• Using embedding/similarity-based methods and domain-specific language models for literature mining and relation extraction;
• Supporting population-level simulations and predictive modelling through cleaned and standardized endocrine/pharmacological data;
• Integrating AI-assisted analysis with biological and physiological modelling frameworks.
• Prepares a comprehensive report prior to conclusion of the temporary role.

This is a temporary position funded for 30 hours per week, through August 15, 2026.
