A leading automotive dealership group with locations across five states is seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team in the automotive retail industry, based in Chicago IL. This position would be working for automotive dealerships located in the city of Chicago and supporting other stores in the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities

- →Onboarding new employees, including sending offers, performing background checks, holding orientation programs.
- →Maintain HRIS records and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- →Assist with employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and resolving employee issues.
- →Coordinate training and development programs for employees.
- →Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and communication.
- →Support HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 4-5 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of standard, commonly-used human resources practices, concepts and procedures a must!
- Knowledge of Key Employment Laws and Requirements necessary.
- Professional in Human Resources Certification preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience in the automotive or retail industry is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
- Work location In Person, travel to other locations is required.
