Emergency Medicine APP (Part-Time) – Murrells Inlet and Georgetown, SC

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) at Tidelands Health is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Emergency Medicine APP to join a growing community-based health system in Murrells Inlet, and Georgetown, South Carolina. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices within the Tidelands Health system to serve Georgetown and Horry Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country.

Tidelands Health operates Georgetown Memorial Hospital (131 beds) in Georgetown, SC and Waccamaw Community Hospital (121 beds) in Murrells Inlet, SC, is a community-based, not-for-profit, health system that reinvests millions of dollars each year into our facilities and technology. We are our region’s MUSC Health affiliate. Tidelands Health is dedicated to keeping the communities we serve healthy and active, inside, and outside of the hospital. With four hospitals, and more than 70 outpatient locations, a Tidelands Health facility is always close to home.

• Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

• Eligible for medical license in South Carolina

• Two years of direct Emergency Medicine APP experience

• Well-respected, established group with over 21 physicians and more than six advanced practice providers

• Two acute-care hospitals

• 9-hour shifts (day and evening)

• Modern facilities, including a cardiac catheterization lab and critical care units with consulting pulmonary/critical-care physician support 24/7

• Part-Time – guaranteed five shifts per two weeks (two shifts one week & three shifts the following week)
