The Clinical Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of a virtual clinical practice. You will manage medical assistants, administrative assistants, and workforce management analysts to ensure efficient workflow, patient experience, and reliable provider support.

You will report into the Director, Clinical Operations

Responsibilities

→Lead daily operations of a virtual clinical practice, overseeing medical assistants, administrative assistants, and workforce management analysts.
→Ensure staffing level, scheduling coverage, and workflow execution meet clinical and operational KPI's
→Provide management, coaching, and performance management for all assigned team members.
→Partner with workforce analysts to forecast volumes, improve staffing models, and ensure adherence to schedule productivity targets.
→Monitor operational dashboards and queue performance; identify trends and implement process improvements.
→Be the operational contact between clinical support teams, providers and clinical leadership.
→Support onboarding, training and ongoing competency development of staff.
→Collaborate with teams such as provider operations, licensing/credentialing, and quality to ensure seamless clinic operations.
→Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
→Other duties as assigned

Requirements

4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical administration, or similar environment
Prior leadership experience managing clinical or administrative staff
Experience with clinical workflows, virtual care operations, and scheduling/workforce management practices.
Proficiency with virtual care platforms, EHRs, and operational tools

Nice to Have

Experience in Virtual Primary Care, Urgent Care or telehealth environments
Experience leading diverse teams (Medical Assistants, Admin Assistants, Workforce Management)
