Factors Group of Nutritional Companies Inc. is a leading manufacturer of nutritional supplements and other health-building products. We are dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of our customers through research, development, and delivery of effective nutritional products. It is our mission to contribute to the lives of our customers, employees, suppliers, and the communities we serve in a cooperative and sustainable manner.
The Application Services Product Owner is accountable for the lifecycle, value delivery, and continuous improvement of assigned enterprise applications within the Business Solutions portfolio. The role drives prioritization and scope decisions for assigned applications, working within governance frameworks and escalation paths defined by the Manager, Application Services. This role owns the application roadmap, balancing business demand, system stability, compliance requirements, and delivery capacity to ensure applications remain reliable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Serving as the primary business-facing owner for their applications, the Product Owner works closely with business stakeholders, Application Services Analysts, developers, vendors, and the Manager, Application Services. The role focuses on operational product management: maintaining roadmaps, prioritizing enhancement backlogs, guiding changes from concept through adoption, and measuring outcomes.
This is a hands-on role that requires sound judgment, comfort making trade-offs, and the confidence to set clear priorities. Success is measured not by volume of change delivered, but by outcomes, stability, adoption, and sustained business value.

Hybrid in the office in Coquitlam
$ 75,000 - $90,000 per year
In this role, you will:
Lead and maintain the lifecycle, backlog, and roadmap delivery for assigned enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives, system stability, and compliance requirements.
Evaluate and prioritize enhancement opportunities and improvements based on value, risk, operational impact, and available capacity.
Provide product leadership to delivery and support teams by clarifying intent, outcomes, and priorities, and making timely scope and sequencing decisions.
Ensure solutions are designed and delivered with operational readiness, supportability, and long-term sustainability in mind.
Act as the primary business-facing owner for assigned applications, maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders and setting clear expectations.
Liaise with external vendors, aligning vendor capabilities and roadmaps with business needs.
Drive continuous improvement using operational data, incident trends, and user feedback to reduce friction, improve reliability, and increase user satisfaction.
You have:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or related application lifecycle roles, with demonstrated experience owning and improving enterprise applications in production.
Experience in manufacturing or other regulated environments (e.g., cGMP) is a strong asset.
Strong understanding of software delivery and operational support practices (e.g., Agile methods, SDLC, incident and change management).
Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, CRM, LIMS, etc.) and lifecycle management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, ITMS, etc.).
Ability to use data (e.g., SQL queries, reports, metrics) to support analysis and decision-making.
Able to make tough trade-offs and influence stakeholders without direct authority, prioritizing long-term stability and compliance over short-term demands while building consensus through clarity and trust.
Clear, structured communicator who builds strong cross-functional partnerships, translates effectively between business and technical audiences, and aligns diverse stakeholders toward shared outcomes.
