Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a passion for building and nurturing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, managing client accounts, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Summary
· Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and customers.
· Generate leads through outbound activity, networking and attending industry events.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
· Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals.
· Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
· Work with senior Business Development and Account Management professionals to upskill and develop.
· Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, sales activities and progress in Salesforce.
· Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs by driving business growth.
· Act as a customer advocate; resolve issues with urgency and accountability
· Continually improve our clients’ experience
What we are looking for in you
· Proven experience in business development, sales or a similar role.
· Analytical Skills and Problem Solving to assess client needs and find ways to meet them
· Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
· Proficient in CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Experience with lead generation and account management.
· Ability to influence decisions
· Ability to articulate to senior stakeholders
· Strong document-writing skills
· Proven track record working to deadlines and time management
