Staff Site Reliability Engineer, SWG

Today, there's more data and users outside the enterprise than inside, causing the network perimeter as we know it to dissolve. We realized a new perimeter was needed, one that is built in the cloud and follows and protects data wherever it goes, so we started Netskope to redefine Cloud, Network and Data Security. 

As an SRE on the Datapath Inline quality engineering team you will have an opportunity to work on world-class SWG solutions. As part of the Inline quality engineering team, you would be required to test, qualify and automate our inline SWG solutions for Email security. You will collaborate with backend service teams to ensure the overall quality, reliability, scalability and performance of the Netskope products. You will work on both the frontend as well as the web application backend. As a member of this team, you will play a key role in the  design, development and delivery of frameworks and automation to test our API backend in a CI/CD environment. 

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role
• Prior experience provisioning Ubuntu based hosts with Ansible
• Strong Git fundamentals, handling multiple workflows across multiple release branches
• Hands on experience with Jenkins 
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, package installation and uninstallation workflows,
• Excellent expertise with python and Linux scripting skills
• Experience with artifact management solutions such as artifactory

• Knowledge of other provisioning and configuration management systems, such as Salt
• Experience with multiple CI / CD orchestration tools, like drone, Github Actions etc
• Familiarity with building and packaging tool chains
• Proficient with secrets management tools such as Vault, SSM etc

• →Responsible for deployment of multiple services across 1800+ hosts spread among over 100 points of presence across the world
• →Collaborate with QE and other internal teams to help ensure stability and avoid regressions in non production environment
• →Co-ordinate with QE and PMs to plan, schedule and execute deployments
• →Work with on call engineers to identify issues on time and propose roll back solutions if required
• →Launch automation initiatives to streamline and optimize deployment workflows.

• BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
