Parts Manager

• →Train parts department and warehouse staff
• →Organizes and oversees employees’ work and schedules.
• →Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• →Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance
  with company policy.
• →Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly,
  professional, and efficient manner.
• →Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• →Provide and high level of service to internal and external customers.
• →Locate out-of-Stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
• →Follow up on Back ordered parts.
• →Replenishes assigned inventory.
• →Assists Outside Sales Representatives with their orders.
• →Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
• →Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• →Other Duties as Assigned.

• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and understand the fluctuating needs for various replacement parts to excel in the role.
• Ability to read work orders submitted by service department.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.
• Computer proficiency
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Five years of experience in automotive shop
• 1 year of experience in parts counter sales, or an Associate’s degree and 1 year of experience in the industry.
