Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for MIG and TIG welds to rotor cores, lamination rings, and brazing

Responsibilities

→Makes correct settings on welders including speeds and feeds as well as proper setups of products to be welded
→Inspects quality of material being welded necessary to prevent rework
→Assembles laminations to lengths
→Presses and welds rotor cores
→Takes coils and measures to size, cuts to length, and puts ring in jigs and welds
→Grinds and cleans rotor cores after welding
→Brazes copper pole pates and copper conduction rods
→Exercises good housekeeping
→Observes required safety practices
→Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
