Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for MIG and TIG welds to rotor cores, lamination rings, and brazing

• →Makes correct settings on welders including speeds and feeds as well as proper setups of products to be welded
• →Inspects quality of material being welded necessary to prevent rework
• →Assembles laminations to lengths
• →Presses and welds rotor cores
• →Takes coils and measures to size, cuts to length, and puts ring in jigs and welds
• →Grinds and cleans rotor cores after welding
• →Brazes copper pole pates and copper conduction rods
• →Exercises good housekeeping
• →Observes required safety practices
• →Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader

• Must be able to read and write
