About the Role
~1 min readNightingale is looking for an experienced Business Analyst III to join our Operational Effectiveness function within Mission Support. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who thrives on turning ambiguity into clarity — leading requirements definition and workflow documentation for complex, high-impact initiatives with minimal oversight.
You'll operate as a subject matter expert across the organization: mentoring junior analysts, driving cross-functional alignment, and bridging the gap between operational complexity and solution readiness. If you love untangling messy problems and building the structure that helps big initiatives actually land, this role is built for you.

You lead with transparency — surfacing information proactively so the right people can make better decisions. You take responsibility — owning your piece of every initiative and pushing yourself and your work forward. And you're invested in building community — creating the kind of collaborative environment where cross-functional partners feel heard and included.
- A fully remote role with real influence over how enterprise initiatives get built and delivered
- The chance to shape the practices and standards of the BA function itself
- A mission-driven community where your analytical work directly supports better outcomes for learners and collaborators alike
