→Arrive ahead of the children to complete light household duties, including laundry, dishes, tidying, and meal prep
→Meet the children off the bus and provide a warm, steady presence during the afterschool transition
→Support homework and reinforce reading and math, particularly with the younger child
→Plan engaging afternoons — library visits, outdoor play, and structured downtime
→Drive the children to local afterschool activities
→Handle light meal prep (simple chopping, putting a prepared item in the oven)
→Manage the children's laundry and light organizing
→Encourage the children to pick up after themselves
→Run occasional local errands during downtime (e.g., a quick grocery pickup)

Requirements

Valid driver's license required; own reliable vehicle preferred (gas stipend provided); parking available
Comfortable swimming with children
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to complete before the start date)
COVID-19 vaccinated
Warm, patient, energetic, and good-humored, with a love of the outdoors
Experience caring for school-age children
Spanish-speaking a plus
