A warm and dynamic family in Norfolk, CT is seeking a full-time, live-out rotational nanny to care for their toddler 2 ) and 6 year old. This role follows a Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM schedule every other week, rotating with another nanny. The ideal candidate is experienced, flexible, organized, and travel-ready. Must be comfortable with two medium-to-large non-shedding dogs.

Responsibilities

→Provide attentive care for both children, including feeding, naps, and daily routines
→Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities
→Light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, toy and play area tidying)
→Clean up after meals and snacks prepared for the children
→Light meal prep for the toddler; bonus if able to prepare meals for the family
→Coordinate and attend outings or playdates
→Support the mother and newborn during the day; engage both children in the morning

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years professional childcare experience
3–5 professional childcare references
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be passport-ready and willing to travel frequently, including overseas
Valid driver's license (vehicle not provided, potential mileage/gas reimbursement)
Regular travel to the family’s second home in New York City
CPR/First Aid certified
Newborn experience required
Up-to-date on standard vaccinations (Tdap, Covid, Flu)
Comfortable with dogs
Highly organized and adaptable to changing schedules
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Bonus if able to swim
Ideal candidate is warm, calm, confident with boundaries, and blends seamlessly into a busy household
