~1 min readOperates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
- →High School Diploma or GED
- →Preferred: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
- →Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified
- →Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
- →Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
- →Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience
- →Strong computer skills
- →Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
