We are currently seeking a Application Management Advisor to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN). Job Title: Rockwell PharmaSuite MES SME Location: Hyderabad (5 Days a week) 30 Days Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Rockwell PharmaSuite MES Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the installation, configuration, customization, and integration of the PharmaSuite MES platform within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in MES deployment, Java-based customization, and integration with enterprise and shop floor systems such as ERP, Level 2 automation systems, weighing scales, and LIMS. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, system connectivity, and technical solution delivery in regulated environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, automation, and IT to deliver robust MES solutions. * * * Key Responsibilities 1\. PharmaSuite MES Installation & Setup * Install and deploy Rockwell PharmaSuite MES across development, test, and production environments * Perform initial system setup and environment configuration * Support deployment planning, system availability, and technical setup activities * Coordinate with infrastructure and support teams for environment readiness 2\. MES Configuration & Java Customization * Configure PharmaSuite based on business and manufacturing requirements * Manage MES master data and objects including: * Materials, equipment, and resources * Workflows and recipes * Users, roles, and master data * Configure manufacturing workflows, electronic instructions, exception handling, and data collection * Perform Java-based customization and configuration within PharmaSuite * Support enhancements, changes, and ongoing system improvements 3\. Integration & Interfaces * Design, implement, and support integrations between PharmaSuite MES and other systems * Work on integrations with: * ERP systems (e.g., SAP) * Level 2 / automation systems * Weighing scales * LIMS * Ensure seamless end-to-end data flow across systems * Troubleshoot interface and connectivity issues 4\. Testing, Deployment & Support * Perform unit testing and support SIT, UAT, and deployment activities * Troubleshoot MES configuration, customization, and integration issues * Provide go-live, hypercare, and production support * Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions * Ensure controlled and compliant system changes 5\. Stakeholder Collaboration * Work closely with manufacturing, quality, automation, IT, and vendor teams * Participate in workshops, design reviews, and requirement discussions * Provide SME guidance on PharmaSuite capabilities and best practices * Support training and knowledge transfer activities * * * Required Skills & Experience * 8+ years of strong hands-on experience with Rockwell PharmaSuite MES * 5+ years of proven experience in MES installation, setup, and configuration * 3 to 5 years of experience in Java-based customization/development within MES or similar systems * Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes * Experience with system integration involving: * ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) * Automation/Level 2 systems * Weighing systems * LIMS * Knowledge of MES processes: * Dispensing * Batch execution * Material management * Equipment integration * Process monitoring * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills * Good communication and stakeholder management skills * Experience in regulated industries (pharma/life sciences) * * * Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field * Experience in MES implementations in pharma/biotech industries * Understanding of ISA-95 architecture and standards * Experience with global or multi-site MES deployments * * * Key Competencies * Strong technical and functional expertise in MES * Ability to independently manage configuration, customization, and integrations * Solid understanding of shop floor and enterprise system interactions * High ownership and accountability * Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments * * * Nice-to-Have * Experience with recipe configuration and batch execution * Exposure to eBR (electronic Batch Records) or shop floor integration use cases * Experience in incident, change, and release management * Ability to support both project delivery and production support About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
