Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Meeting and exceeding short and long-term enrolment targets, consistently delivering against agreed KPIs
- →Acting as a knowledgeable, trusted guide for prospective students — providing clear, accurate information on courses, fees, and funding options
- →Assessing applicant eligibility carefully and professionally, escalating complex cases to subject specialists or university admissions teams where appropriate
- →Maintaining accurate student records in Salesforce CRM and preparing regular sales pipeline reports
- →Collaborating with the Marketing team to promote programmes effectively and support the evaluation of campaign ROI
- →Helping to coordinate recruitment events, webinars, and course demonstrations that showcase what OES and its university partners have to offer
- →Contributing actively to continuous improvement initiatives within the department, sharing ideas and supporting a culture of excellence
We're interested in speaking with enthusiastic and driven sales professionals who are passionate about helping prospective students achieve their goals. You'll have a natural ability to build rapport, connect with people from diverse backgrounds, and bring a genuine desire to make every conversation meaningful.
You will bring:
- Proven success in a fast-paced sales environment, in a similar role, ideally within the higher education, university, academic, or student recruitment sector.
- Demonstrated experience in consultative sales (Minimum 1 year), with the ability to understand a prospective student’s goals, motivations, and circumstances, and guide them towards the most suitable programme or study pathway. You are comfortable asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and providing tailored advice that builds trust and supports informed decision-making.
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding KPIs and targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Resilience, self-motivation and a results-focused mindset.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- A genuine interest in education and the positive impact it can have on people's lives

OES offers a hybrid, approach to work, where we work 2 days from our office in Birmingham (Wednesday & Thursday), and the rest from home (or wherever you choose!).
