Our work spans jury selection, focus groups, demonstrative evidence, and trial presentation—grounded in social psychology, rigorous research methodologies, and advanced information design.
DRC is seeking a Litigation Strategist with at least five years of litigation experience and trial experience.
Responsibilities
~1 min readThe attorney will report directly to a Director of Litigation Strategy and will be responsible for:
- →Focus Group Development & Analysis: Conducting case intake, drafting presentation materials for focus groups, analyzing research findings alongside the psychology and research teams, and developing trial strategy recommendations.
- →Demonstrative Aid Conceptualization: Collaborating on the development of visual and strategic demonstrative aids for focus group presentations and trial use.
- →Legal Analysis & Writing: Conducting legal research, drafting memoranda, and formulating strategies for presenting evidence and testimony at trial. Assisting with the drafting of opening and closing statements, direct and cross-examination outlines, and witness preparation.
Requirements

- At least five years of litigation experience, preferably in a commercial litigation department at a major law firm.
- Strong ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, compelling arguments, both verbally and visually.
- Experience developing effective case themes and trial narratives that resonate with jurors.
- Ability to work on-site in our New York City office up to five days per week.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%

Compensation: $220,000-$260,000
The indicated salary range for this position reflects the base pay, which is determined by several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographical location. It does not include overtime compensation, which DRC provides in alignment with state regulations.
