Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

Torque Supply provides safety equipment for all industrial and commercial applications. We offer a wide range of construction safety products, including PPE, fall protection equipment, and other essential job-site safety supplies.

We're looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. While this position is focused on warehouse operations, we're a growing company where employees have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and grow into other roles as the business expands.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing, and other duties will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit. 

• Receiving
• Fulfillment (Pulling orders)
• Quality Control
• Shipping (UPS/FedEx & Freight)
• Deliveries, as a backup
• Warehouse (Building) Maintenance
• Familiarity with Warehouse Processes/Flows
• Inventory Maintenance
• Unloading inbound trucks
• Loading our delivery trucks
• Issue Resolution (Vendors/Freight Companies/Customers)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
• Strong experience working as a warehouseman
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes and documentation
• High School diploma or equivalent required; or a combination of equivalent training, education, and relevant work experience.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Effective team player with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
• Ability to interact professionally and constructively with employees at all levels, supervisors, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Experience in construction/safety supply is preferred.

• Forklift certified/ experience.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to the following:

• Able to walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, squat and climb.
• Able to wear required personal protective equipment.
• Able to work with specialized construction equipment, tools, and materials.
• Able to see, talk and hear in person, via phone and/or through online/video.
• Able to lift & carry items up to 50 lbs. On occasion 65lbs+.
