1. Why are you interested in joining the Omidyar Network Associate program, and how do you envision this role contributing to your long term professional goals? (250 word maximum)
2. Omidyar Network is a philanthropic organization whose mission is to bend the arc of the digital revolution toward shared power, prosperity, and possibility. Digital technology doesn't operate in a vacuum. It is deeply intertwined with our economic system and private companies, government and politics, and social structures. That’s why our priorities cover the key drivers of our shared digital future: culture, policy, markets, and tech itself. Please share an issue you’re passionate about that connects to one or more of Omidyar Network’s priority areas, and describe what you see as one opportunity for Omidyar Network (in partnership with others) to drive positive change on that issue over a 3-5 year time horizon. Please briefly synthesize the issue, and provide a succinct diagnosis and recommendation. (500 word maximum)
