The Associate General Counsel will serve as a key legal leader for the company, overseeing legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across the organization. This role is responsible for protecting the company’s interests by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, supporting government and commercial contracting activities, safeguarding intellectual property, and strengthening corporate governance practices. The Associate General Counsel will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance that enables growth while managing risk.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the company’s legal and regulatory compliance efforts across government and commercial operations.
- →Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements, and advise leadership on resulting obligations and risks.
- →Support the development and execution of regulatory strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- →Partner closely with the Senior Director of Operations and other internal stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
- →Help prepare the company for audits, reviews, certifications, and other regulatory oversight activities.
- →Serve as Company Secretary, including maintaining corporate records, managing board and stockholder matters, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Requirements
~1 min read- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, customer agreements, teaming agreements, and strategic partnership documents.
- Provide practical legal advice to business stakeholders on operational, commercial, and compliance-related matters.
- Identify legal and business risks in transactions and propose solutions that balance protection with business objectives.
- Support the creation and improvement of contract templates, legal processes, and playbooks to enable efficient execution across the company.
- Partner with internal teams to address legal issues arising from day-to-day business operations.
