Our client, a leading company within the aviation sector, is seeking a motivated and commercially driven Sales & Marketing Executive to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting airline routes, fares, and services, developing strong relationships with travel industry partners, and identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in an international environment and requires frequent business travel. Candidates with previous experience in the aviation industry, particularly within a travel agency or airline sales environment, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Proactively promote and sell airline routes, fares, and services through various communication channels, including telephone and email.
- →Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and key industry partners.
- →Negotiate, manage, and monitor incentive agreements with clients, reviewing performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
- →Assist travel agencies with booking enquiries, product information, issue resolution, and customer support when required.
- →Manage group requests and bookings, prepare quotations, and actively develop group business opportunities.
- →Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and recommend strategies to maximise revenue.
- →Develop sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with internal departments.
- →Identify, evaluate, and capitalise on new business opportunities within assigned markets.
- →Prepare and distribute commercial updates, sales advisories, and performance reports.
- →Conduct regular client visits and maintain accurate records within CRM systems, including Salesforce.
- →Prepare and adapt sales presentations according to different markets and countries.
- →Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- →Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding airline products, services, and destinations.
Requirements

- Previous experience within the aviation industry, preferably in a travel agency, airline, or airline sales role.
- Proficiency in Amadeus or another airline reservation system is essential.
- Willingness and availability to travel frequently for business purposes.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Strong sales mindset with a target-driven and results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
