Job Description:


Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to be a member of Parsons team for a high profile roads and Infrastructure Project.


Responsibilities

  • →Prepare, revise, and maintain detailed CAD drawings for roads, utilities, tunnels, bridges, and associated infrastructure works.
  • →Prepare drawings based on design information, IFC drawings, site conditions, survey information, and Engineer's instructions.
  • →Review and incorporate design changes, site modifications, and approved technical information into drawings.
  • →Assist engineering teams in reviewing contractor shop drawings, as-built drawings, utility layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and details.
  • →Coordinate drawings across civil, structural, utility, and other disciplines to identify discrepancies and potential clashes.
  • →Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable Dubai authorities standards, and CAD standards.
  • →Support preparation and verification of as-built drawings based on approved site information and survey data.
  • →Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions, numbering, layering, and document control requirements.
  • →Coordinate closely with Engineers, Surveyors, BIM/CAD teams, and other project disciplines.
  • 3 years Diploma or Bachelors degree in relevant technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting for major roads and infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience in Dubai is mandatory.
  • RTA approval or previous RTA approval/acceptance is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience working on roads, utilities, tunnels, bridges, interchanges, and associated infrastructure works.
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai RTA standards, specifications, drawing requirements, and submission procedures.
  • Extensive experience using AutoCAD. Knowledge of Civil 3D and BIM-related workflows will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience with an engineering consultant on major Dubai infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on Dubai experience on major RTA roads and infrastructure projects, with demonstrated capability in preparing and coordinating drawings involving roads, utilities, bridges and tunnels. Candidates with current or previous RTA approval and consultant-side experience in Dubai will be given preference.
