Pattern is looking for a Talent Review Partner (Contractor) to support our hiring process during a temporary maternity leave coverage period. This role plays a critical part in maintaining hiring quality, supporting packet turnaround times, and helping the Review Team manage fluctuating hiring volume while ensuring a world-class candidate experience. 

This is a temporary, part-time contractor position that is fully remote and highly flexible. Training will begin in July, with primary coverage needed from approximately August through November.

  • Prepare candidate scoring documents and evaluation materials.

  • Review resumes, transcripts, LinkedIn profiles, references, and other candidate information.

  • Assist with hiring packet preparation and quality assurance.

  • Coordinate communications and scheduling related to executive hiring reviews.

  • Support hiring process administration and operational workflows.

  • Assist with AI-related projects, training materials, and process documentation

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking.

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, objective recommendations.

  • Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable using AI tools and adapting to changing priorities and workloads.

  • Experience in recruiting, admissions, candidate evaluation, or other highly selective review environments preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking.

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, objective recommendations.

  • Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable using AI tools and adapting to changing priorities and workloads.

  • Experience in recruiting, admissions, candidate evaluation, or other highly selective review environments preferred.

  • Consistently prepares accurate, high-quality candidate packets with minimal errors.

  • Maintains responsiveness and turnaround-time expectations despite changing hiring volume.

  • Demonstrates strong judgment and objectivity in candidate evaluation.

  • Learns and applies Review Team processes quickly.

  • Operates independently while maintaining strong communication and collaboration.

  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve hiring operations and efficiency.

  • Serves as a trusted operational partner to the Global Talent team.

  • This position is designed as temporary maternity leave coverage, and there is currently no budgeted path to a full-time position. However, exceptional performers may be considered for future opportunities and could be kept in mind for future hiring needs across the Talent team or broader organization.

  • Learn Review Team workflows, tools, and evaluation processes.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality standards.

  • Begin contributing to packet preparation and candidate review activities.

  • Manage packet workflows with limited oversight.

  • Maintain quality and responsiveness standards.

  • Adapt effectively to fluctuations in candidate volume and workload.

  • Consistently support turnaround-time expectations and hiring quality standards.

  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to Crystalyn and the Review Team.

  • You will work with the other Talent Review Partner and be supervised by the VP of Talent Acquisition. You will also be mentored by the Chief People Officer and meet with them on a frequent basis to discuss your performance. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.

  • Initial phone interview with Pattern’s talent acquisition team

  • Video interview with a hiring manager

  • Onsite interview with a panel of department leaders
