General Laborer

Sets up converting and/or corrugator accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques. Inspect all material before and after run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run.   Monitors box quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print. Check rolls for damage. Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed. Assist others within the crew with job duties on the machine. Complete necessary data entry and reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Submit maintenance work orders through BPMS for repairs needed. Complete annual food packaging and safety training. Report any discovered food packaging safety risks or concerns. Previous leadership responsibilities. Two years of forklift experience. Good computer skills.   Demonstrated ability to be solutions oriented and proactive. Previous corrugated experience. Demonstrated ability to learn and work as a cohesive team member.     KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously. Ability to work within a team and effectively communicate with members. Mechanical aptitude, ability to read a tape measure and have a strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to maneuver through computer programs to access information and enter accurate information. Self-starter, ability to troubleshoot machinery and solutions oriented.
