Through decades of growth, our values remain the foundation of everything we do. We are committed to craftsmanship, creativity, and delivering exceptional experiences at every touchpoint.

If you’re inspired by thoughtful design, creative collaboration, and seeing your work come to life in extraordinary interiors, we invite you to apply. Reporting to the Customs Design Director, this role plays an integral part in shaping custom artwork—from refining layouts and supporting client concepts to preparing designs for production. This position is ideal for a detail‑driven creative who thrives at the intersection of artistry and execution, values collaboration, and takes pride in contributing to beautifully realized custom projects.

What You Will be doing

Artwork Development

  • You’ll help shape how custom designs come to life—refining artwork, solving layout challenges, and supporting the creative integrity of every custom project.
  • Support the development of custom artwork files and prepare designs for production use
  • Adapt existing PJ designs and templates to meet client needs while adhering to brand and production standards
  • Prepare mural layouts and tailor artwork based on provided specifications and direction from senior team members
  • Identify repeat or layout inefficiencies and proactively suggest improvements to senior designers
  • Follow defined artwork standards to produce accurate digital files for print and installation
  • Maintain and update documentation, contributing examples to support team training and development
  • Assist in resolving layout or repeat challenges under the guidance of senior designers
  • Adapt artwork based on feedback, architectural elevations, or revised specifications, with review from senior staff
  • Ensure artwork aligns with seasonal design direction and escalate concerns to the Director of Design as needed

Client & Sales Liaison

  • You’ll play a key role in bringing client visions to life—partnering with Sales and Design to shape custom concepts that are both inspiring and achievable.
  • Prepare visual proposals and supporting materials for escalated client requests in partnership with Sales and senior design staff
  • Review client vision briefs and contribute design options that align with production capabilities
  • Support the presentation of custom concepts that balance creativity, feasibility, and client needs
  • Track timelines for assigned custom requests and provide updates to internal stakeholders
  • Share recurring client feedback or request trends with the design team
  • Help maintain communication templates and visual reference libraries to support Sales efforts
  • Prepare artwork assets or samples used for Sales education and onboarding initiatives

Item Setup

  • You’ll help move custom designs from concept to reality by ensuring every detail is accurately prepared for production.
  • Enter precise data and submit production-ready files for assigned custom items
  • Follow established processes for item setup and flag potential delays to team leads
  • Review files for accuracy prior to submission and escalate issues to support teams when needed

Strike-Offs

  • You’ll help safeguard quality and consistency by supporting the critical review process that brings custom designs one step closer to production.
  • Prepare digital files for strike-off creation and assist with color adjustments during review
  • Coordinate timelines with internal teams to meet established delivery dates
  • Participate in strike-off reviews with Manufacturing or Quality teams to ensure standards are met

Reporting & Analysis

  • You’ll contribute to smarter design decisions by helping capture insights, trends, and data that support continuous improvement.
  • Record and track key metrics related to assigned custom requests
  • Organize artwork and request data for reference in template development and team reviews
  • Summarize feedback and patterns in client demand, sharing insights with senior designers
  • Assist with updating team reports or dashboards in collaboration with leadership

What You Bring to the Table

  • Ability to be onsite at 3 days per week at our Fairfield, NJ location
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or a related creative field
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in a design, artwork development, or production-oriented creative role
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Photoshop and Illustrator for layout, artwork refinement, and production preparation
  • Experience using AVA CADCAM or similar design-to-production tools preferred
