• Working Arrangements: Hybrid. The primary office is in Canberra however working remotely from an alternate location, including work from home, or flexible work arrangements may be considered. Any approval is at the sole discretion of the Buyer. All required travel to and from location will be at the Seller's expense unless previously agreed.

Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.

The Service, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated AFP personnel, include but are not limited to:

• →Custom portal development with UI Builder or React framework ensuring secure integration with ServiceNow APIs and government data models.
• →Perform advanced customisations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows custom tables and reports.
• →Integration and ServiceNow scripting (Glide, Java Script, Ajax, XML, JSON, HTML and CSS).
• →Advanced workflow development and customisation.
• →Advanced Playbook development.
• →Advanced CSM development and customisation.
• →Escalation of issues and risks within team structure.
• →Respond to reported problems, performing fault diagnosis, analysis and rectification tasks.
• →Provide or assist in the analysis of enhancements as requested by business areas.
• →Support, design, configure, test and implement ServiceNow functions and methods.
• →Assist in the development and documentation of technical design standards and work within those standards.
• →Develop or assist in the development of test plans and user documentation.
• →Record and maintain files/information in accordance with AFP requirements.
• →Work in an Agile team environment and with a variety of stakeholders.

The role requires contemporary knowledge and a high level of experience in ServiceNow development, including components such as CMS, and UI Builder.
