We are seeking a BIM Engineer with experience in commercial kitchen equipment design and coordination to support hospitality, food service, healthcare, and institutional projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing BIM models, coordinating kitchen equipment layouts with other building disciplines, and ensuring designs comply with project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop, maintain, and update BIM models for commercial kitchen equipment using Autodesk Revit.
- →Prepare detailed kitchen equipment layouts, installation drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated BIM models.
- →Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, structural engineers, interior designers, and project teams to resolve design clashes and ensure seamless integration.
- →Produce equipment schedules, legends, material take-offs, and technical documentation.
- →Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to ensure compliance.
- →Participate in BIM coordination meetings and perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar software.
- →Ensure BIM models comply with company standards, BIM execution plans (BEP), and project requirements.
- →Support procurement and project execution teams by providing accurate technical information and coordinated drawings.
- →Assist in design development, value engineering, and technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
- →Coordinate with kitchen equipment suppliers and manufacturers to incorporate accurate product information into BIM models.
- →Maintain document control and revision management throughout project execution.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, BIM, or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of BIM experience, with proven exposure to commercial kitchen equipment projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, food service planning, and hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
- Familiarity with BIM Level of Development (LOD) standards and BIM workflows.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of international commercial kitchen design standards is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, coordination skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
