The Senior Digital Analyst is responsible for driving measurable ecommerce growth by transforming customer behavior data into actionable business strategies. This role owns the performance and optimization of the end-to-end digital customer experience, partnering closely with Marketing, UX/UI, Product, and Ecommerce teams to increase conversion, customer engagement, retention, and revenue.

Success in this role is measured by the ability to identify opportunities, influence cross-functional decisions, and deliver measurable improvements in ecommerce performance through analytics, experimentation, and customer journey optimization.

As a Senior Digital Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to directly influence revenue growth and shape the digital experiences of our customers. This is a highly visible role where you'll combine analytics, experimentation, and customer insights to drive meaningful business results.

Working cross-functionally with Marketing, UX/UI, Product, and Ecommerce teams, you'll uncover opportunities to optimize the customer journey, improve conversion performance, and enhance customer retention. Your insights will help guide strategic decisions, inform digital innovation, and create measurable impact across the business.

  • Improve ecommerce conversion rates by identifying and eliminating friction throughout the customer journey.
  • Increase average order value (AOV) through analysis-driven recommendations and optimization initiatives.
  • Improve checkout completion rates by identifying abandonment drivers and implementing solutions that reduce drop-off.
  • Deliver measurable revenue growth through data-informed optimization strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive measurable improvements in ecommerce funnel performance.
  • Maintain reliable, actionable analytics data across all digital properties.
  • Achieve and maintain 98%+ tracking accuracy across key ecommerce events.
  • Conduct monthly audits of GA4, GTM, and analytics platforms.
  • Resolve tracking, attribution, duplicate event, and firing issues within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Maintain documented tracking requirements and measurement plans.
  • Provide insights that improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Analyze customer lifecycle and repeat purchase behavior on a monthly basis.
  • Deliver quarterly recommendations to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
  • Identify and report key funnel drop-off points and improvement opportunities.
  • Increase business impact through structured testing and optimization.
  • Enhance User Experience Through Data-Driven Recommendations
  • Partner with UX/UI and Product teams to improve customer experience.
  • Deliver actionable UX recommendations supported by behavioral analytics.
  • Validate optimization initiatives through measurable performance outcomes.
  • Contribute to roadmap prioritization using customer behavior insights.
  • Grow High-Quality Organic Traffic - Improve organic acquisition and landing page effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report keyword performance trends and recommendations.
  • Improve Paid Media Landing Page Performance
  • Maximize post-click experience and campaign efficiency.
  • Partner with paid media teams to evaluate campaign traffic quality.
  • Provide optimization recommendations that increase ROAS and campaign effectiveness.
  • Deliver Executive-Level Reporting and Business Insights
  • Enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
  • Maintain dashboards that accurately report key ecommerce KPIs.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify emerging trends, risks, and revenue opportunities.
  • Present insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Use behavioral analytics tools to improve customer experience and conversion performance.
  • Conduct regular analyses using heatmaps, session recordings, and behavioral data.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement improvements based on user behavior insights.
  • Support business needs while maintaining high standards of execution.
  • Meet project deadlines and stakeholder commitments.
  • Provide timely support for critical business initiatives, including occasional off-hours support when required.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and communication.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or a related field. 
  • 5 years of experience in ecommerce analytics, digital analytics, or conversion optimization.
  • Proven experience driving measurable improvements in conversion rates and digital revenue.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in a Digital Analyst or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop preferred)
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM principles and tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and initiative
