Triple P India (TPI) is a strategic extension of the firm’s platform, established to build a high-quality team that operates as an integrated part of U.S.-based teams. Professionals in TPI are involved in live engagements from the outset, contributing to analysis, execution and client deliverables in coordination with colleagues across the firm. The platform is designed to provide meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to senior leadership and long-term growth in a high-performance environment.

The Performance Improvement (PI) team partners with private equity sponsors, lenders and corporates to drive value creation, performance enhancement and transformation across the business and investment lifecycle. This high-output team delivers strategy through execution that is tailored per client needs.

Portage Point Partners is seeking a Vice President, PI to lead critical workstreams, across transaction execution, operational turnaround and value creation programs. This Vice President will manage Associates and ensure analytic rigor on commercial and operational diagnostics, performance improvement and implementation support across U.S.-based private equity portfolio companies. The Vice President will lead workstreams that enhance efficiency, accuracy and decision-making for clients facing complex financial, transactional and operational challenges.   • Manage execution of commercial due diligence, operational due diligence, transaction and transformation workstreams, ensuring accuracy, speed and insight generation
  • Oversee development of cost reduction programs, cash flow improvement initiatives and operational KPIs
  • Drive detailed performance improvement analyses across procurement, supply chain, pricing and overhead optimization
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality outputs and building capability
  • Interface regularly with U.S.-based leadership to align on priorities and deliverables
  • Support implementation tracking, including PMO setup, initiative tracking and benefits realization
  • Contribute to process standardization and knowledge building within the India team
  • Participate in internal and client-facing discussions to present findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based team members to ensure seamless execution across time zones
  • Contribute to a high-performing, inclusive and values-driven culture
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate program
  • Willing to relocate to or be primarily present in Gurgaon
  • Experience working with private equity clients or on US / global transactions
  • Six to 10 years of experience in management consulting, turnaround transaction execution or performance improvement (MBB, A&M, AlixPartners, Big 4 or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in cost transformation, operational turnarounds, transaction execution or cash management programs
  • Proven ability to manage teams in a global delivery model
  • Advanced financial modeling and data analytics capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead complex engagements, manage multiple priorities and deliver executive-ready results
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teams
  • High attention to detail, responsiveness and ownership mindset
  • Track record of success in high-pressure, client-facing environment
