Associates Degree Required. Bachelor's Degree Preferred. The PAX Coach partners and builds relationships with classroom staff so they can effectively provide evidence-based prevention coaching and technical assistance in schools and agencies in Chautauqua County.  The staff member is responsible for professional presentations and general community awareness, education, and training events for various ages/grade levels. 


Knowledge of continuum of services and the local referral process is a plus.  Public speaking experience, training skills, communication skills, administration skills, program development, and collaborating with teams required.  Ability to work well with adults and youth. Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Google Apps. 

Flexibility is a must.  County wide travel is required. 


Duties include, but are not limited to the following: 


1. Collaborate with teachers & administrators providing guidance on implementing PAX Kernels, Cues, and the PAX Good Behavior Game. 

2. Collecting Data for Internal and External Use

3. Assisting the development of strategies to implement PAX and other technical guidance throughout the school and in the community. 

4. Schedule and attend regular teacher meetings, administration meetings and board meetings when needed. 

5. Providing Evidenced-Based Prevention Programming to area school districts and agencies. 

6. Participates as an active member of Prevention Works Program and All Staff Meetings

7. Provides presentations to schools, boards, organizations, and the community on the PAX Good Behavior Game and other Prevention Works program services. 

8. Provides PAX Community Tools Trainings throughout the year.

9. Provides staff support for Prevention Works programs or special events as needed, including training, health and wellness fairs, program services and fundraising events. 

10. Assists with completing reports 

11. Participates on monthly State calls

12. Provides phone and office coverage as needed
