The Sales Strategy and Program Manager functions as a key cross-functional support partner for SVP, Sales, concentrating on communication, project execution, and accountability—the last mile of execution. This individual serves as the connective tissue among the Sales SVP, managers, VPs, and the broader sales team, ensuring that strategic initiatives are successfully aligned and implemented. 

Unlike a traditional Sales Operations role focused on tools and data, this position focuses on the people, projects, and communication required to translate sales leadership decisions into completed actions.

Responsibilities

  • Communication Bridge: Draft and manage team-wide communications, including all-hands meetings and weekly updates; cascade sales leadership directives and manage upward reporting 
  • "Last Mile" Project Execution: Take full ownership of driving special projects—such as new sales initiatives or programs—to successful completion.
  • Follow-ups & Accountability: Track action items from leadership meetings to ensure progress on all strategic projects and Sales OKRs.
  • Operating Cadence Management: Structure and organize weekly, monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure leadership is prepared and meetings drive actionable outcomes.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct foundational research and analysis for sales initiatives. Act as a "sounding board" for the SVP, assisting in structuring thinking around sales strategy and organizational alignment.
  • Cross Functional Work: serve as project manager for cross functional work to drive follow-up and action on sales initiatives. Resolve execution bottlenecks efficiently without requiring executive micromanagement.
  • Management of key sales processes and cadences (for example: Data Study prioritization) 
  • Project Execution: Proven ability to take high-level decisions and translate them into finished operational projects.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document processes clearly and present with confidence.  
  • Organizational Mastery: Ability to organize multiple, often competing priorities and manage complex operating cadences.
  • Professional Discretion: Experience acting as a trusted advisor and "sounding board" for senior leadership.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of technology, innovation, and process-driven operations.
  • Creative Thinking: resourceful and ability to work independently  
  • 5+ years relevant experience in Program Management, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations or roles within the Sales / Revenue organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker, highly desired for their ability to act as a thought partner with leadership.
  • Experience supporting matrixed, professional organizations and change management initiatives.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management with the ability to resolve bottlenecks cross functionally   
  • Experience organizing large-scale meetings, such as All-Hands.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with AI tools.
  • Experience working in Salesforce, Clari, Adaptive a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
