Responsibilities
~1 min readYou will provide an effective and efficient Occupational Therapy service to children with various presentations within their homes. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions in family homes. You will support and carry out therapy sessions, including individual and group work. You will collaborate with social care, healthcare, and SEN staff to model good practice and establish support programs. You will complete administrative duties such as data input, record keeping, and managing the OT email inbox.
- Is a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy with pupils and their families.
- Ability to manage own time and caseload, prioritising tasks with support.
- Excellent reflection skills.
- Experience working with pupils aged 7-18 with Occupational Therapy needs.
- Knowledge of Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ASD, ADHD, and associated conditions.
- Experience in clinical assessment, planning, and implementing intervention programmes.
- Up-to-date clinical knowledge.
- Excellent CPD opportunities and career progression
