Banding: Equivalent to Band 8a
Location: Greater Manchester (hybrid working across home, schools, and regional offices)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term-time only (approx. 41 weeks per year)
Salary: £63,372 FTE (approx. £57,738 pro rata)

As an Educational Psychologist, your role will be central to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. You will:

• →Carry out psychological assessments and needs analyses to inform tailored interventions
• →Produce high-quality reports for families, schools, and professionals
• →Collaborate with education staff to co-develop strategies that remove barriers to learning
• →Deliver training and consultation to internal and external stakeholders
• →Supervise and support Assistant Psychologists and trainees
• →Contribute to service development, research, and reflective practice
• →Work as part of a wider clinical team, engaging in supervision and CPD

We welcome applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Essential: Doctorate in Educational Psychology and current HCPC registration
• Desirable: Experience working with children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs
• Strong communication, consultation, and report-writing skills
• A collaborative, reflective approach to practice
