Job Title: Educational Psychologist
Banding: Equivalent to Band 8a
Location: Greater Manchester (hybrid working across home, schools, and regional offices)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term-time only (approx. 41 weeks per year)
Salary: £63,372 FTE (approx. £57,738 pro rata)

Responsibilities
~1 min readAs an Educational Psychologist, your role will be central to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. You will:
- →Carry out psychological assessments and needs analyses to inform tailored interventions
- →Produce high-quality reports for families, schools, and professionals
- →Collaborate with education staff to co-develop strategies that remove barriers to learning
- →Deliver training and consultation to internal and external stakeholders
- →Supervise and support Assistant Psychologists and trainees
- →Contribute to service development, research, and reflective practice
- →Work as part of a wider clinical team, engaging in supervision and CPD
