Neuropsychologist
Location: West Midlands (Birmingham, Peterborough, Cambridge, Nottingham and surrounding community areas)
Working Hours: 2–3 days per week, preferably include Wednesdays (otherwise flexible)
Salary: £65,000–£75,000 FTE (DOE)
Pulse is now recruiting an experienced Neuropsychologist to join a fast‑growing, specialist provider of community‑based neurorehabilitation. This role sits within a highly supportive interdisciplinary service delivering life‑changing rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injury (ABI) across the West Midlands, particularly within the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity to work autonomously in the community while being part of an established clinical team expanding its Midlands provision. The position offers flexibility (2–3 days per week), paid travel, high‑quality clinical support, and the chance to shape a developing service.
Responsibilities

- →Deliver specialist neuropsychological assessments and interventions within clients’ homes, workplaces, and community settings.
- →Provide rehabilitation focused on cognitive, emotional, and behavioural outcomes to promote independence and participation.
- →Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including OT, PT, and SLT colleagues.
- →Contribute to shared formulations, joint goal‑setting, and rehabilitation planning.
- →Use trauma‑informed and vocational rehabilitation approaches where appropriate.
- →Build meaningful therapeutic relationships and support clients to return to valued life roles.

- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Post‑graduate qualification in Neuropsychology (QiCN or equivalent)
- Experience working with adults with acquired brain injury
- Background in community neurorehabilitation, neuro rehab, or brain injury services
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
